No breaking in needed at all, these were comfortable from the first walk. Great for popping to the shops.
Soft underfoot and much lighter than I expected. The knit upper feels breathable and the strap keeps them nicely in place.
I wanted something easy for school drop-offs and quick errands. These slip on easily and feel comfortable for walking around the shops.
The black pair looks neat with jeans without feeling too dressy. Very light on my feet and easy to wear for a coffee catch-up.
They pack down easily in my suitcase and hardly add any weight. I like having a flat shoe that still looks tidy enough for dinner.
I wore these through a full day of errands and they were pleasantly light. The cushioned insole has a nice bit of softness and the elastic strap helps the shoe stay secure. I also like that the knit has some airflow compared with my usual closed flats.
I bought the beige because I wanted something neutral for work. They look polished with cropped trousers and are easy to slip on in the morning. The flexible sole makes walking between appointments comfortable. They have quickly become one of my regular weekday pairs.
My feet get warm in enclosed shoes, so the knitted upper was what appealed to me. These feel much airier than a standard ballet flat. The sole has decent grip on smooth floors and the strap gives me a bit more security. I have worn them to brunch and around the local shops without any trouble.
The shoes are very light and the cushioning feels good for everyday wear. Mine felt a little snug across the front on the first try, although the knit relaxed slightly after wearing them around the house. The strap sits comfortably and they stayed on well while walking. I would check the size guide carefully if you are between sizes.
I have been wearing these for weekend markets because I wanted flats that would not feel heavy after a few hours. The cushioned insole is softer than most ballet flats I own, and the flexible sole makes them easy to walk in. I also appreciate the rubber outsole because some market surfaces can be a bit slippery. The knit upper keeps the shoe feeling light rather than stiff. They work well with jeans, linen trousers and casual dresses. A very useful pair for everyday wear.
I took the beige pair away for a short holiday and ended up wearing them more than expected. They are lightweight enough to pack as a spare shoe and do not take up much room. I wore them sightseeing, to lunch and out for an early dinner. The elastic strap was useful because I never felt like the flats were slipping off my heel. The knit feels soft rather than rigid and the insole gives a bit of cushioning on hard pavements. I would happily take them on another trip.
I usually struggle with ballet flats because they can feel hard underneath after an hour or two. These have noticeably more softness through the insole and feel very flexible when walking. I wore them on a long shopping day and my feet did not feel as tired as they normally do in flat shoes. The knitted material also feels breathable, which was helpful on a warmer afternoon. I chose black because it goes with almost everything in my wardrobe. They are casual, but still tidy enough for a family lunch or dinner with friends.
These are soft, light and easy to put on, and I really like the simple Mary Jane style. The elastic strap feels secure and the rubber sole grips well when I am out walking. I wore them for a family gathering and they were comfortable for most of the day. For very long walks I personally prefer a shoe with a firmer arch, so I would use these more for everyday outings than serious walking. The knit upper is comfortable and did not feel stiff around my toes. Overall they are a nice practical flat, just not quite as supportive as my walking shoes.
